The one item WE always need is FEED!
If you would like to send a gift/donation of feed (Alfa Pro, hay, etc.) to the horses you can send that through our local feed store, HF & C Amarillo.
HF&C Amarillo has offered to help us with anyone wanting to send a donation of Alfa-Pro to the horses. When you call, tell them you are sending a gift to Big Hoof Foundation and they will add the gifts to our account.
Alfa-Pro is $17.45 per bag. They do offer a discount if you purchase by the pallet (40 - 50 pound bags) $16.95 per bag by the pallet.
WE go through about 5-1/2 bags per day to feed all 15 horses (270 pounds per day).
We also purchase square bales of coastal hay and use 6 bales per day.
Square bales of hay are $16.75 each.
